Resolution Loudspeaker Premiere, Discovery II, the new DS-W2 Optical Cartridge & More

The U.K.'s leading audio exhibition and Wilson Benesch's home show is now just one week away. To celebrate, Wilson Benesch always plan something special. True to form in 2018 we are not short on highlights.

This year the company will unveil its new Resolution loudspeaker before a British audience for the first time. Sitting just below the companies flagship loudspeaker in its reference line, the Geometry Series, the Resolution stands 1.6-meters in height, beautifully finished with sculptured carbon fibre top and an impressive drive unit array. This week, the Audiobeat published the first review of the Resolution, in which Roy Gregory comments,

"It is beautifully engineered from high-tech, high-quality materials… Tonal and temporal coherence are its strengths, its holistic, seamless presentation in some ways more akin to an electrostatic, but a 'stat with bass and balls."

Head to the Audiobeat for the full review.

The Resolution will partner with an all CH Precision front end. As the official U.K. importer, Wilson Benesch are delighted to be unveilling the new I1 integrated amplifier for the first time in the U.K. The new I1 distils much of the technology found in CH Precision's multi award-winning 1-Series in one box.

British cable design and manufacturer, Clearer Audio Cables, will provide the full wiring loom for a two system show. With industry leading power cables, interconnects and speaker cables, Wilson Benesch will demonstrate the Discovery II standmount loudspeaker with I1, with the Resolution being powered by a full CH Precision system, to include two A1 Power Amplifiers, L1 Pre-Amplifier and C1 DAC.

And finally, we'll wrap things up with news that the new DS-W2 optical cartridge from Japanese engineers, DS Audio, will be partnered with Wilson Benesch's Circle 25 Turntable. The DS-W2 follows in the wake of the stunning DS-W1 and DS-Master 1, used previously by Wilson Benesch at 'Sound & Vision' in 2016 and 2017 respectively. The DS-W2 is a technological tour-de-force and one more reason to visit us in the Conservatory.

We look forward to seeing you next week!
