Audio-Technica Showcases CES Innovation Award Winner
Audio specialist Audio-Technica will be showing the new flagship high performance over-the-ear wireless headphones at Bristol Sound & Vision. The Bluetooth® aptX HD-enabled ATH-DSR9BT, winner of a CES Innovation 2017 award from the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), and the ATH-DSR7BT. These wireless models are the first headphones to employ Audio-Technica’s innovative Pure Digital Drive (TM) system, proprietary technology that, along with unparalleled advancements in driver design, keeps the original audio signal completely digital from source to driver for an unprecedented sound performance.
Alongside this wireless duo, Audio-Technica will also be showing its premium wired model, the ATHSR9.
Designed for both listening at home and on-the-move, Audio-Technica’s headphone trio deliver the best-in-class, wired and wireless audio-experience.
To successfully execute the Pure Digital DriveTM system technology, the ATH-DSR9BT and ATHDSR7BT have been designed from the ground-up by Audio-Technica’s leading audio-engineers.
Unlike conventional wireless headphones this new series uses a specially designed Trigence Semiconductor Dnote® chipset to keep the audio signal completely digital from the source direct to the headphone drivers. Exclusively designed 45mm True Motion D/A drivers feature a four-core voice coil (single-core on ATH-DSR7BT) that precisely processes complex digital signals for the smooth movement of the diamond-like carbon material coated diaphragm. Without the need for a digital to analogue conversion that often degrades and distorts the sound quality, the combined
result is a truly accurate and natural audio reproduction.
