JICO

Established in Japan in 1873, JICOs origins trace back to crafting sewing needles for kimonos. The company evolved to create its first record needle in 1964 and is now offering over 2,000 meticulous handcrafted stylus models. At the heart of JICOs high standard are the skilled Takumi (Japanese artisans) who hand assemble and check all JICO styli. Stringent quality inspections and tests using unique and high-level technology are performed on all materials and at every level from the manufacture of parts that transmit vibrations to the cartridge (the cantilever, magnet and wire) to the final assembly. Combining unique precision technology with great dedication, has turned JICO styli to become todays quality benchmark.
